I suppose the answer to James Russell Lowell's question is
nothing. The first 29 days of June though have been memorable as the Supreme
Court has rendered several opinions affecting its citizens.
I don't have time to write about my take
on the rulings but suffice it to say, the Supreme Court should not be
legislating morality as it did on Friday in the gay marriage decision. Its
role is to INTERPRET the law. It failed on Friday. Earlier in the week
the court did its job and let stand the latest attack on the so called
"Obama Care". Its decision upheld the legality of the act in
its latest and probably most significant challenge.
Thanks for taking the time to read this
and I will write more on what has happened when I have the time. I have
been busy but I know you have too so thanks for taking the time to read this.
I shall write again soon.
