If you read this Blog regularly you know I love big beers. I finally got the chance to taste Bell's Two Hearted Ale on Sunday evening.
I have been aware of Two Hearted Ale for some time, but had just never tasted it. I found it on tap and it was a pleasure. It's of the Indian Pale Ale style and has a tremendous floral hop aroma and pours a cloudy amber color. This fine brew finishes with a nice mix of malts and sweetness. It was so good I ordered a second.
The folks at Bell's know what they're doing and did a terrific job with Two Hearted Ale.

It's Been Worth the Wait
I finally got to sample a Dog Fish Head "60 Minute IPA" this evening and it is everything I expected it to be. The beer is a golden color and you can smell citrus and flowers in the bouquet. It has a hoppy taste but is very smooth as it goes down. This is a session beer by definition and the brew master at Dog Fish Head is to be complimented!
I had to drive an hour round trip and cross a state line to get it but it was well worth the drive. My only regret is it's not distributed in Missouri. Hey Dogfish Head; there are a lot of us here in the Show-Me-State that would be more than happy to support your business if all of your offerings are this fine!
