Happy Thanksgiving Day!

I thank the Lord God Almighty for so much on this Thanksgiving Day! I am more richly blessed than I ever deserved and have so many blessings and gifts I cannot begin to count all of them.

This year I have much, much more reason to be thankful. I am so thankful for the new kidney I received in May and the second chance at life it has given me. It's been six and a half months and all restrictions have been lifted. I am doing everything I want and the organ is doing its job very well. I give thanks to God for this gift! I also give thanks to God for my family, friends, nurses, doctors, surgeons, therapists and support staff. With all of their help my recovery has been easy!
Happy Thanksgiving Day to all my Facebook family and friends. May God bless each of you richly!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving Day to you and your loved ones!

I am thankful for all that has been given to me.  I have been so richly blessed I sometimes take those gifts for granted. I cannot begin to express my thanks for the love shown to me by family and friends. I live in a nation where I am free to worship Almighty God as I wish without fear of reprisal from the government; a nation where I am free to come and go wherever I want and whenever I want.

I have a roof over my head and a warm comfortable bed to sleep in each night.  My home is filled with much more than I could have ever imagined. My safety is made possible by the sacrifices of others who put their lives on the line to protect me 24 hours a day. When I open the refrigerator there are way more food and beverages in it than I have ever done anything to deserve.  If I want for anything, I have been given the means to buy it by the jobs that were given to me during my working years.

For all of these blessings and all past blessings I say thank you Lord!

Happy Thanksgiving 2020

To say this has been a strange year would be an understatement at best. But, on this Thanksgiving Day I want to give thanks for all that has been given to me. If I want for anything, I have been given the means to buy it by the jobs that were given to me during my working years. For all of these blessings and all past blessings I say thank you Lord!!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of my family and friends!

What I am Thankful for this Thanksgiving

As I say thanks and count my blessings today I really don't know where to begin since I have been blessed much more richly than I deserve. I am thankful for the freedom to worship in the way I want and the chance to associate with whomever I wish. I am free to go wherever I like and do the things I want.

I am thankful for the love of family and so many friends. I give thanks for my home with a roof over a warm bed each night protected by men and women who put their lives on the line every day to protect us. I am thankful for a refrigerator stocked with way more food and beverage than I deserve whenever I want it. I flip a switch and my home is lit at night. I turn a tap and I have fresh safe drinking water. I push a button and my home gets warmer or cooler.

I am grateful to have a vehicle that takes me places I never dreamt I would reach and I am thankful for meeting so many people along the way with different backgrounds whom I would have otherwise never had the opportunity to meet and talk.

Last but certainly not least, I am so thankful to have a good job with a great organization. Almighty God has blessed me very richly and for that I thank Him!
