A Joke of a Radio Station

How can a city the size of Saint Louis be such a wasteland for local media? The CBS Radio affiliate is still calling itself the "Sports Voice of America". What? In the past five years it has lost the local broadcast rights for all three professional teams here. The station doesn't even carry national sports events made available to it by it's network let alone any local college broadcasts on a regular basis. Sports Voice of America? No it's not even the sports voice of downtown Saint Louis. And this little joke of a radio station also refers to itself as Mid America's most trusted news source. Yeah, right. It rewrites the Saint Louis Post-Dispatch (a crappy paper in it's own right) or rips and reads the Associated Press. I have even heard the station make corrections when the local paper runs a correction. Unbelievable.
