Kudos to the MLB Channel

I was watching the Cardinals get blown out tonight by the Pirates and started flipping channels. I stopped on the MLB Network long enough to start watching a program called "MLB Tonight: 1st to 3rd". The show is terrific. It shows live look-ins of various games in key situations. The production also utilizes video highlights of just completed plays from all of the ballparks to keep it's viewers up to date. Add inciteful analysis and you have a can't miss program for any serious baseball fan.

I am constantly criticizing Major League Baseball but this time it got the job done right. Hats off to the anchor of the crew Matt Vasgersian and to analysts Harold Reynolds and Mitch Williams. "MLB Tonight: 1st to 3rd" airs from 7-9 each night there are games. It is followed by "MLB Tonight: Roundtripper" from nine to eleven. It too is an excellent tool for baseball fans. It's anchored by Greg Amsinger with analysis from Harold Reynolds and Joe Magrane.
