Mizzou went into Austin this evening and knocked off the 16th ranked Texas Longhorns by a count of 69-65. My beloved Tigers played solid defense all evening and pressured Texas into a number of turnovers. Texas slowed the game down but Mizzou still made big shots at critical times and won despite playing the game at a slow pace.
The Tigers are now 19-4 and 6-2 in conference. Texas falls to 15-6 and 4-3. The win is the Tigers second straight over the Longhorns but first in Austin since 1999.
