Poor Coverage

I don't know if you and your family have been watching the Democratic National Convention this week or not. I have to a certain extent, but have to say the network coverage has been lame.

The big three networks have shown an hour a night and have interrupted it at random with a host of commercials. (Yes, I know that is why they are in business, but the timing appears to be done at whim). And the so called "coverage" of the convention by the St. Louis television stations has been laughable.

The best coverage I have seen is that being provided by
C-SPAN. It has shown wall to wall coverage from the venues without any interruption. And without the inane commentary of people who would have you think they are smarter than you. Sure, at times C-SPAN's being there has been nothing but an infomercial for the Democratic party, but it also has provided live coverage of events that were blown off by the commercial networks.

If you care to see the best convention coverage there is, check it out next week when it covers the GOP convention in the Twin Cities.
