How 'Bout Them Tigers - Part 1

It appears as if, and I am very hopeful, that Mizzou has reloaded for a new season. My beloved Tigers stomped Illinois on Saturday in downtown St. Louis 37-9 and the score could have been worse.

Missouri lost it's QB, TE, 2 wideouts and 2 defensive players to the NFL draft. But, it appears as if Blaine Gabbert and the backups from last year have joined the returning starters from that team and picked up where they left off. (They had left off with a win over Northwestern in the Alamo Bowl last December).

The Tigers will get a bit of a breather this weekend with Bowling Green and next week with Furman before taking off to Reno to take on Nevada. Then it's into the Big 12 wars and three consecutive games against Nebraska, Oklahoma State and Columbia. At that point we should have a pretty good idea of how good this team is going to be.
