My beloved Mizzou Tigers football team is now 4-0 coming off a relativly easy 31-21 win over Nevada on Friday night. The Tigers led the game by 18 points on the road in the fourth quarter before the second string gave up a late meaningless touchdown.
Danario Alexander was the Tiger's offensive star of the game and was recognized this morning by the Big XII Conference for his effort as the league's offensive player of the week. The standout on D was Sean Weatherspoon who played another killer game at his Weakside Linebacker position.
Up next for the Tigers...the hated Nebraska Cornhuskers a week from Thursday night at Faurot Field in Columbia. Kickoff is 8 pm which I hate, but ESPN is paying Mizzou $350,000 for the right to move the kickoff to prime time. But, on the other hand, the lovely Erin Andrews will be coming to Columbia! Woo-Hoo!
