My beloved Missouri Tigers are ranked number eleven in the nation after burying the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Saturday night 41-6. This is the highest ranking in 26 years for the Tigers who are now 5-0 overall and 1-0 in Big XII play.
The Tigers dominated the game from start to finish, and the defense stepped up with some big plays early in the game when they were needed. While I am very proud of my alma mater, I have to wonder about just how good Nebraska is this season. The Tigers are very good but Nebraska made them look a little better than they really are.
Next up a roadtrip to Norman, Oklahoma and the Sooners on Saturday evening. It should be a better test of how good Mizzou is.
