"Breaking News". That's what CNN used at mid day today to describe the so called "showdown" over the firing of eight U.S. attorneys. Gee, I guess CNN must have missed it when it broke two weeks ago. Does Ted Turner's "all news" channel really think people buy into this type of rhetoric? I don't think they give their viewers much credit.
But, then this story should have died a quick death several weeks ago. But, the liberal media are having a field day with it, trying to embarrass the Bush administration. Where were these so called "professional" journalists when the Clinton administration did the same thing only on a much grander scale? I'll tell you where. They were giving "Slick Willie" a free pass.
